Robopathology was a term coined in 1972 by the psychologist Lewis Yablonsky. It is a disease caused by the systemization of human activities, a motivator of school shooters, money-hungry bureaucrats, egregious board members, and unethical drone strikes. It is time to address that robotic ways of thinking have become the dominant way of seeing in contemporary society. From the McDonald’s worker to the Apple Programmer, our lives have become infected by robotic routines and systems.

Since the beginning of online dating, users have been compartmentalized to a series of hobbies, careers, and mundane lifestyle choices. When we only see our loved ones as data points can we truly know what intimacy is? This social issue project brings attention to Online Dating Platforms affect on all our lives, and calls people to build stronger intimate connections.
